About the Event

Kautilya Fellows Programme is India Foundations’ annual flagship event that aims to bring together Foreign and Public Policy aficionados from all over the world. The programme over 9-days provides the attendees with a comprehensive understanding of the nuances of India’s Foreign Policy and Public Policy coupled with a field visit to provide experiential learning

The curriculum of KFP is well rounded to cover major thematic issues and strategic bilateral relationships in India’s foreign policy, understand India’s public institutions and their role in shaping India’s political economy and society.

KFP deploys innovative mechanisms to facilitate in-depth analysis and interaction through Foreign Policy Labs and Field Visits to key public institutions of India like Rashtrapati Bhawan, Parliament of India, Interaction with the Vice President of India at the Secretariat and an interaction with the External Affairs Minister of India at the Ministry of External Affairs followed by a 2-day experiential learning visit away from Delhi.

In the last edition hosted in 2020, India Foundation had received over 400 applications from 53 countries. After a rigorous evaluation process, 101 young diplomats, professionals and academics from 31 countries were selected to participate.

India Foundation is hosting the 4th edition of the Kautilya Fellows Programme (KFP) from April 2 to April 10, 2022.
